cheap george foreman grills

George Foreman Grill Problem!!!? I have one of those cheaper george foreman grill that you can just turn on & off, no settings or anything. It works pretty okay except that every time I use it, it burns the outer layers of whatever I'm cooking while the inside stays uncooked. Like when I cooked salmon today, the top and bottom was burnt but the inside wasn't cooked fully. It happens with chicken or burgers too. How do I stop that from happening? I've tried spraying cooking spray and oil but the food still burns. Any advice? You bought a cheaply made product endorsed by man who named all five of his sons "George." Nuff said.
