Contact Electric grill for chicken grilling?

I want to buy a electric contact grill for grilling chicken. What should be the minimum wattage required for the same. I would be cooking at most 2-3 pieces of chicken at a time.

(we have a counter top open electric grill and love it, I think we bought it at WalMart, you can wrap items such as fish in foil and cook in a few short minutes as well as cooking chicken pieces without the foil.....sorry, I don't know the wattage, but check the box it comes in)
