What are the ways to reduce the drain of a potted plant? I have the cork mat to put under the pot (that came with the Trash traditional recycling). It proved to be a bit useless, but I also believe that an abnormal amount of drainage is happening. Any advice? Yes, I was below the cork mat. Forced a narcissus flower, although the general opinion is of great help too! I always stuff a bit of layers (or a product female) at the bottom of my pots. The gel is in them the same things available in child care centers - but less expensive way that way - and absorb an incredible amount water. It was) really helps reduce the excess water ran along the bottom, and b) keeps the moisture available to the roots of the lowest, where the humidity should be. You also can be a bit too watered.
