sandwich maker

...  to stop sandwich maker from leaking cheese? Our sandwich maker keeps leaking cheese every time I make a sandwich. Am I preparing the sandwich wrong or whatever. can someone tell me how I can stop it from leaking. BTW the sandwich that are getting cooked leak cheese through the sides all over the side of the sandwich maker. place the cheese in the middle and when it melts it will spread without leaking.
